Whitehall Terrace Community Garden

Whitehall Terrace Community Garden, a cohort of AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot" is a City of Atlanta program that invites entrepreneurs, non-profits, and residents to apply for a 5-year renewable license to adopt a vacant, city-owned property to start a new urban garden or urban farm in Atlanta. The program was launched to ensure that 75% of Atlanta residents are within a half-mile of healthy food by 2020 and develop a resilient food system by 2025.

Umi Feeds is a founding member of the Whitehall Terrace Community Garden and joined to be able to increase access to fresh foods, improve food security and dietary habits through education.
